Food Service Recipe Contest Rules
1. This contest is open to the food service professional 18 years and older to include chefs, instructors, students, catering directors, and food & beverage managers.

2. To qualify you must have permission and guarantees and/or given proper credit for all materials from other sources to submit a recipe
. If it appears on your menu or if you have used it in the past from any employer's establishment.

3. Recipe must be in the format provided so uniformity will exist. Type or print legibly, following directions on a recipe format provided. Also include your name, title, establishment or school name, address/phone/fax/e-mail.

4. Enter as many entrée items as you wish in the different categories. Each recipe requires a separate application form and must be posted on the recipe format provided.

5. All qualified entries will be submitted into four different categories. The single winner, one from each category, will receive a $250.00 prize. As a newly launched culinary site, our first recipe contest will end when 250 recipes have been selected for judging. Recipes must be calculated in quantities of 10 portions per entry.

The Grand Prize: A Week's Accommodations at a Vacation Resort
Everyone who enters the contest will have an opportunity to win the grand Prize
( with a total value of $1000.00 US dollars, to include resort + cash)
All entries submitted for the current recipe contest will be placed in a barrel for the grand prize drawing. The grand prize is a vacation package. The winner will be contacted so a vacation can be customized and designed for a dream holiday. A list of resort destinations will be selected for the single Grand Prize winner's choice.
(The grand prize winner pays for Travel expenses)

6. All recipes will be judged on the following criteria: taste, creative use of product, ease of preparation and visual appearance. Judges are chosen by the sponsor, all decisions of the judges are final. Photographs of the finished products are welcome but not required.

7. Contest winners will be required to sign and return a liability release.

8. Recipes become the property of L.G. Publications, who reserve the right to edit, adapt, publish and use the recipe in any form without compensation. Entrants agree to the use of their name printed with any of the recipe selected. (Exceptions will be contest prizes being offered for a particular publication)
